Ghassoul is a saponiferous clay which has foaming and absorbent properties. It has been used for centuries in Morocco to wash and revitalize the skin and hair.
Unlike common soaps and shampoos, Ghassoul contains no surfactants. It acts only by absorption and therefore does not attack the hair, the skin or the mucous membranes. Its pH is neutral
